There are many things that have happened in my life that have greatly affected me. One of these happened just last year. I did not make the ND soccer team. I was devastated. I love to play soccer, and I have been playing on multiple teams since I was four years old. Ii went to soccer conditioning for the whole winter, but I still did not make. For a couple of days I was very upset. I then decided to move on and try track. I joined track a little late, but I loved it. I am now doing cross country, and I am planning on doing track a gain this year. This event taught me that even though you are put down and hurt, you can always move on. Sometimes when things seem to not work out, there is probably something else that you are supposed to be doing. You can always pick yourself up and move on. I commented on Tom Hanley's blog.

I am a little nervous about my upcoming report card. I know that my grades are a little lower than I would like them to be, but hopeful they are not too low. My worst subject will probably be Spanish as usual. I hope that this report card shows an improvement in most of my grades. I have not been putting as much effort into my work as I usually do, but hopefully my grades will be acceptable.

My favorite Halloween costume ever was when I was 5 years old. I dressed up as a devil. I had horns and a tail and everything. I think that is a really funny picture of me, and this costume brings back some good memoriesof when I was younger. Mrs. Brown, I commented on Lexi Deceanne's blog.
I just went to the new Peoria logo website. I found it very difficult to decide which logo that I liked the best and that I would like to vote for. I didn't really like any of the logos, but I had to pick one. I thought thta all of the logos with the ! in place of the "i" in Peoria were dumb. I finally decided on the logo thta said Peoria establed in 1825. I thought that it looked cool and that it showed a bit of our history as a city. I hope this one wins.

I think that the iphoto project is a cool idea. I think that they will look really cool when they are finished. I am not yet done with mine, but I am making good progress so far. I am not sure which song I am going to use in my project, but I was thinking about using How to Save a Life. I hope everyone's projects are going well, too. The newsletter project about Homecoming was a cool project. I think that the newsletters turned out very good. I thought that the project was kind of boring overall, but I am looking forward to the next project that we are going to do involving the pictures set to music. I am glad that we are done with the newsletter project, and I think that they look really good. Mrs. Brown, I commented on Maggie Clark's blog.
I have many goals for the upcoming year. Some of these goals include my physical health. First, I am planning on running consistently throughout the year. This will help me in the sports that I compete in. I want to keep running even during the winter when I do not compete in a sport for Notre Dame. I hope that I can meet this goal and improve in the sports that I do.
