There are many things that have happened in my life that have greatly affected me. One of these happened just last year. I did not make the ND soccer team. I was devastated. I love to play soccer, and I have been playing on multiple teams since I was four years old. Ii went to soccer conditioning for the whole winter, but I still did not make. For a couple of days I was very upset. I then decided to move on and try track. I joined track a little late, but I loved it. I am now doing cross country, and I am planning on doing track a gain this year. This event taught me that even though you are put down and hurt, you can always move on. Sometimes when things seem to not work out, there is probably something else that you are supposed to be doing. You can always pick yourself up and move on. I commented on Tom Hanley's blog.

hey this is justin, and ya i play the acustic electric and bass guitars, and am in the process of learning piano and drums.
this is a realy cool story, i have had things almost exactly like that happen to me in my life, regarding sports aswell, and i know how bad it can suck. but it is realt encouraging to look at the way that you handdled it. good luck this season in track.
Hi Hannah,
My daughter went through a similar experience at Dunlap with the Tennis team. She did not make it after being on for a year so she picked herself up and went to the Cross Country team. They welcomed her with open arms. You always need to remember when you experience a disappointment, it is part of God's plan. He has something better for you in mind for the next experience.
You have been doing terrific in class and I am thankful for you as a student. Keep up the great work! - Mrs. B
